If you could never get caught in a particular submission ever again what would it be?

I'd pick the arm triangle. Getting caught in them was a long time problem.

What is in your jiu jitsu bag?

I carry extra stuff like a rash guard, spats, and pants. All things I have forgotten. They've also benefitted a training partner or 2.

Coat hanger in case the string needs to be put back in pants. Underrated accessory.

First aid kit, electrolyte mixes, a protein bar, mouth guard, extra deodorant and usually a toothbrush.

If you could instant obtain a high skill level in any position, which would you pick and why?

I'd take half guard. It's one of those positions that just doesn't stick with me so I'd love to no longer have to learn it and focus on other positions or moves.

Fun question this week. What books have you read or movies have you watched related to jiu jitsu. Let's see what titles we can share!

Books I've only read "Opening the Closed Guard" by Robert Drysdale but have his second book.

Movies like everyone I've watched choke. Jiu Jitsu vs the World was really cool on YouTube. There were a few I saw on Flow that were short docuseries ones too. I feel like there are one's I've forgotten too.

Inspired by some traveling this week, but is there gym you’d like to visit? Doesn’t have to be for the specific person, but maybe the area.

Laundry, there are memes about how much laundry jiu jitsu generates. Especially for newer people to jiu jitsu, what tips can you offer  to help avoid being the stinky person?

-Always wash your stuff, don't try to re-ware it

-Adding vinegar along with detergent helps kill bacteria that will cause smells

-Washing on cold and hang drying helps prevents gis from shrinking

-Laying gis out in the out in the sun to dry lets the natural UV light kill ordor causing bacteria, and gives your gi that really nice rough texture your partners will love you for 🤣

-If you can't wash your stuff right away, hang it, don't bunch it up or leave it in the bag

What else can you share?
