Watch out for a guy named Russ!ย ๐Ÿ˜œ Seriously though, I would tell myself to follow through on having a plan. I dabbled in everything and didn't stick to any of it long enough to really develop a game...and stay away from Russ.

I am conflicted about this subject. Would the rule set change the way jiu-jitsu is practiced? Moving the focus even more to a sport aspect and diminishing the self-defense aspects of bjj that are already being diluted? Thomas Rozdzynskiย how do you feel?

And wash your belt!!!

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer in the fabric softener dispenser works great. I also recommend never leaving it in your bag for your significant other to wash. I highly recommend never leaving it in your bag, in your trunk, during the summer, for your significant other to wash.๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ

Good training partners, attentive coaches/instructors, cleanliness, and wrist locks!

When I was 24. I was running to a Kung Fu class several times a week and also doing some training with Ho Sung Pak who was an actor and a stunt man. I would have been able to dedicate more time to it. However, jiu-jitsu was very different back then and I don't know if the sink or swim style would have been right for me.

Best Training Partner. I was fortunate enough to have Tony Vargas as my very first training partner. We all have trained with Tony and know how amazing he is. Whenever I had a brand new person as my partner I tried to be as helpful and nice as Tony was to me.

I have to agree with Daniel Bianchi. Although the Bread Cutter is fun because it is so mean. No wait, wristlocks!!!
