If you didn’t have to worry about work, family or any other personal obligations, how many times a week would be your ideal number of days to train?Ā

Time for the question of the week! Do you have a game plan for your training sessions? For me more recently I’ve been finding myself working on certain positions that I’m trying to get better at so I will put myself in those positions as much as possible during rounds. How do you plan your training sessions? Let me know below!Ā

What do you like about your favorite training partners? What makes them your favorite?

What class would you create?

If you made a class, what would it be? What would the objective be? Who would want to go?

I think a ā€œCombat Jiujitsuā€ class would be pretty cool. When you introduce the open palm strikes, you really have to focus on control and positioning before you can think about submissions. A wise man once told me, ā€œif you’re doing jiujitsu correctly, your opponent won’t be able to strike you.ā€ I also like the old school vibe of ā€œYou can’t do anything I don’t let you.ā€ Plus it seems to be pretty traditional. I’ve heard stories of dojo storming in the old days where they would make the blue belt control the challenger and submit them by slaps because you had to pay for lessons to witness the submissions.Ā

What class would you want to attend
