One skill that I'd like to master would be time management. Making the most of time, something that we can never replace, leads to a higher level of productivity. More "time" can also lead to a better quality of life. Who doesn't want to increase their quality of life by training jiujitsu?? :)

As early as middle school. I believe the school systems in Japan and France allow students to take judo as a class-course. It would be great if our school systems had BJJ classes in their curriculum.

That statement is usually followed by a comment/question like, "oh, my 10 year old son has been doing Taekwondo for a year now. He's a black belt. What rank are you?"

I'd encourage 'FIRST DAY RAY" to enjoy the entire process, don't get overwhelmed with trying "run before you can walk" and BREATHE! People use the word "journey" when it comes to BJJ. It truly is one. Enjoy the ride!
