Ugh I understand this post entirely. I’ve been so sad to lose my “partners in crime” on the mat. It’s happened over and over again - luckily I am still close friends with all of them. I’ve always tried to encourage my training partners who are in a rut or thinking of quitting, but there’s only so much you can do. People will always leave, and some will stay - you just have to make the most of it!

Who is ready for the new week? It looks like our Kids Classes will have some really cool techniques this week!

What are you looking forward to most?

I'd tell myself: Don't be too hard on yourself, you'll get there!

Anyone willing to use technique over power especially when going against someone smaller - this is huge. Julie, Tim, Edgar, Russ, Kyle K - So many awesome partners.

Working through the build-up from Monday to Friday is my favorite part, Fridays are intense but the workouts are awesome.

Knowing your limitations, but using them to your advantage rather than seeing them as a disadvantage. For example, creating and using small spaces.

Half Guard - I feel like I have more options to attack/sweep/move from this position
