When we start out we think it’s just submissions. In reality we should look at it more in smaller victories…

Was I able to hold side control?

Did I escape from a higher belt? 

Did I keep someone, that’s similar belt, in full mount? 

Did someone escape when I had their back..and why? 

Was I out of breath and exhausted after a round? 

In the words of Oprah….you get a choke, and you get a choke…..and you get a choke. 

We’ve got 2 chokes in all-levels class this week.
