When we're practicing in class, I'm never sure how much resistance to give. I know we want our partner to be able to practice the technique easily so we should be letting them do that, but sometimes I feel like I'm just going with the move too much and letting my partner get away with mistakes neither of us are noticing because I'm going too limp. For example, we've been doing the pendulum sweep this week, and I feel like I was just going with it to the point that I was partially sweeping myself because I knew what was coming. Is there anything I can work on to be a better partner and give the correct amount of resistance when someone is practicing something new?
