Don’t be a jive turkey and think you should slack on your fundamentals this week!

Trap-bridge-roll, the first technique i attempt whenever I end up in full mount.

I’ll be going over the small details that set me up for success whenever I attempt this technique!

We've got 2 variations for single leg take downs this week, make sure you don't miss it!

That's a good one! Once that choke is done to you, you're always aware of it being used.

Not a surprise since you did a whole workshop on triangles!

Funny, I had a hard time with the scissor sweep at the beginning. Once I became ok with loading my training partner, it became a lot easier!

Transitioning from closed guard to back control.

Great technique that ends with us in a very dominant position.

We’re starting our series from closed guard.

It doesn’t get much more old school than a cross collar choke from closed guard.

Arm locks…or if you’re from Boston…Ahm bahs

On a serious note, it’s one of the most used submissions used in sport jiujitsu and MMA.

Let’s dive into this submission and have some fun. 💪

What is a win?

When we start out we think it’s just submissions. In reality we should look at it more in smaller victories…

Was I able to hold side control?

Did I escape from a higher belt?

Did I keep someone, that’s similar belt, in full mount?

Did someone escape when I had their back..and why?

Was I out of breath and exhausted after a round?
