I have to say that I would go for pedigree of the video. Like Professors Thomas and Gracie. However nothing glitzy or fancy but basic bits and bolts type stuff. Something geared toward my body type, age, and skill level most of all.ย

Myself I funnel my diet, film work, and demonstrations over the course of a week. To do this I meal prep, watch films for the week from fundamentals. Develop exercises around the film study, get reps and take notes, with questions for the Professor. With some weight training sprinkled in there.ย

I have to agree with all these answers but ย the one and only time I crossed my feet while on Tony back was a big surprise. Never again.ย

Performance on the mat is directly correlated to what we do off the mat. I usually ask my self. Self, what can I be doing to help my jiu jitsu? And these are the answers I get, diet, strength, and one of the most important aspects is flexibility, so tacfit, yoga, or stretching play vital roles in my training. Most importantly to avoid injury and enhance performance. Weight training 2xโ€™s a week is a must. I would like to go to the gym more. Meal prepping is another key component, so thereโ€™s grocery shopping, kitchen time etc. the rule of thumb for me anyway is whatever goes in my mind or stomach has to affect me in a positive way for my BJJ performance.ย

From butterfly sweep to the sickle sweep. All very engaging techniques that can transform to others like the pendulum sweep.ย

There are so many but if it had to go with one it would be the rear naked choke.ย
