This week for ROL KIDS!  8/11/24


Little Kids

Welcome to week #2 - This week in our Little Kids class, we’ll be focusing on the Chest Grip Escape (up grip). Our young grapplers will learn how to safely and effectively break free from an opponent's grip. It’s going to be a week full of fun and learning as we build confidence and skills on the mats!


Kids All Levels

Welcome to week #2 - This week in our Kids All Levels class, we're focusing on some essential techniques. We’ll start with the Chest Grip Escape (up grip) to help our students break free from tough situations. Then, we’ll work on the Arm Lock from Knee on Belly (near arm), adding a powerful submission to their skill set. It's going to be a fun and educational week on the mats!


Kids Intermediate

Welcome to week #4 - This week in our Kids Gi Intermediate class, we’re diving into some powerful techniques. We’ll start with Osoto-gari, a classic judo throw that helps gain control from standing. Then, we’ll focus on the Arm Lock from Knee on Belly, first learning how to apply it on the near arm, and then the far arm. Get ready for a dynamic week of skill-building and growth on the mats!

Join us for week #2 - This week in Kids Advanced, moving on to the Top Control position. More specifically from Top Control the Advanced Kids focus will be on Escapes from Top Control.

This week for ROL KIDS!  8/4/24


Little Kids

Welcome to week #1 - This week in our Little Kids class we will be teaching the kids one of the most powerful takedowns in Jiu Jitsu - the Double Leg Takedown. Introducing our younger students on the concepts of these powerful techniques is important to their growth through Jiu Jitsu, so we will be working on repetitions to set them up for success!


Kids All Levels

Welcome to week #1 - This week in our All Levels Kids class, we’re focusing the Single Leg Takedown and the Defense for the Single Leg. This is a great way for our students to see both sides of the concept, from setting up and executing the Single Leg from the Clinch position to learning how to defend it properly is key. It’s going to be a great week!


Kids Intermediate

Welcome to week #3 - This week in our Kids Intermediate class it is all about the Guillotine Choke! The kids will focus first on setting up the standing Guillotine once they have done enough repetitions we will move on to the Standing Guillotine Escape. Giving them views from both sides is important to their success in Jiu Jitsu. It’s going to be an awesome week!
