Kids Intermediate Gi classes will focus on Top Control attacks. Importantly week for the kids 💥 

This will be a very important week for many, many find difficult to escape Back Control. This week we will be mastering defending and escaping from the back. 

I’ve always been a big believer in “don’t skip days.” Back in my early days, I got injured and had to sit on the mat while watching class and taking notes. I know it’s not the most fun way to spend time, but I always learned something from those lessons. Some people think it’s a waste of time, but for me, those were some of the most productive times in my journey.

I also think that taking time off doesn’t mean you can’t do Jiu Jitsu at all. There are so many ways to stay connected to the community, like watching videos, listening to podcasts, watching classes, and studying. The more you disconnect, the harder it will be to get back into the groove.

Single Leg X and 50/50 in NoGi Interm this week. We will dig into some cool sweeps.

This is a such an underestimated topic. Great question.

Last 12 months or so I have invested into flexibly and mobility. I was very skeptical at first, however all knee issues went away and overall movement has improved so much. 

This year my plan is to focus on overall strength, TacFit has been really helpful. 

One of my fav weeks to teach, Knee Cut Passing in the Gi Intermediate and Guillotine Chokes in NoGi. It’s going to be a awesome week guys
