No Gi Adv - We start a new block for the next two months.  Now is the time to jump in if you plan on coming.  Front headlocks attacks and defenses for the next 2 months!

No Gi Adv - We got into dogfight previously from the lower leg shift sweep and also discussed how to get there with just the underhook.  We also covered the limp arm escape.  We will cover more moves from the dogfight position and more importantly discuss when and where I use them dependent on my partner's reaction, posture, and whizzer pressure.  

Will be a fun class in No Gi Adv.  We will be wrapping up the lower leg shift series with the last segment.  If you have been along for all the classes, you have answers for going underneath your partner, building up, or taking the back.  We will then start diving into the basics of dogfight and give you answers to all actions dependent on your partner's balance, positioning, & whizzer.   

Basically stayed them same process for me. Study what I am trying to do, get some drilling in, so I can learn the fundamental movements and why, then try to implement that into live rolling as much as possible. 

Key thing at that point is you are going fail a bunch of times with resisting opponents learning something new.  That failure is good and helps me learn.  I go back and do loops of study/live or positional rolls/fail until you learn all these little details and reactions of a fully resisting opponent and can start hitting stuff consistently on better and better opponents.  

Last class of the Adv. No Gi block for North South Kimuras.  We will wrap up the final attacks.  Hope to see you there.   

Adv No Gi - Continuing on with the kimura block.  Will be getting into the meat and potatoes of all your partner's main defenses.  The next few weeks will all build off each other.  Don't miss out.

Start of a new block for me.  Starting all things kimura's.  If you were there for my workshop on Saturday, you will have a good head start into the block.  A lot more to get into though. 

No Gi Adv - Last class of the back control block. Will go into secondary attacks or armbars and triangles.
