All Levels is covering some mount escapes. I would argue it’s the most important escape to learn. Whether it’s on the mats or on the street, the mount is a natural position of dominance so you better develop a path to escape!
As a student, I never really considered how much goes in to being an instructor until I took this course. But these videos provide a great blueprint for how to structure a class. Plus with the continuous practice throughout the instructor program, you’ll have all the tools you need to become a great instructor!
I think the most challenging part is just showing up. When I first started I felt nervous, clueless and out of place. It’s hard to push yourself out of your comfort zone into something completely new. I think that continues as you progress through the belts as well because you can always find reasons to not train today. You have to show up to get better!
