Keep on pushing brother. If it was easy everyone would do it

The reflection points are not always easy, specially after we got smashed 😂

Some would say that’s the most challenging part of Jiu Jitsu. Keep on pushing 👊🏻

Even though many say Jiu Jitsu for smaller and weaker, there's no question that we are engaging into a physical activity. As we come to your aging, it is important that we remain in a good physical condition and engagement movement and feel good every single day

The DLR X Sweeps series by Professor Russell Usauskas offers a comprehensive exploration of the De La Riva (DLR) guard transitions into X-guard, a pivotal concept. This series emphasizes the fluidity between guards, showcasing how to effectively off-balance opponents and create sweeping opportunities. By integrating the DLR hook with X-guard entries, practitioners can disrupt their opponent’s base, leading to successful sweeps and positional advancements. Professor Russ’s instruction delves into the mechanics of grip control, hip movement, and timing, ensuring that students grasp the nuances of each transition.

Sydney Samoska I couldn’t agree more, we need to keep showing up and improving just a little more every day. Consistency is the key.

Jiu Jitsu is so complex and challenging at times, good training partners are key.  Not only we need to trust them, but also we need them to challenge us mentally and physically.  A good training partner will push up without destroying you, they will motivate you when days are hard, and help you without making you feel stupid. I think that's why we create such strong bonds with others on the mat, which often turn into a longterm friendships.

Always appreciate your training partners, you can't get better without them.
